Terms of Service

These terms govern bookings made with 1stepoutside, a licensed tour operator in Samarkand, Uzbekistan (License №UZ-2024-00115). By booking a trip you accept these terms.

A booking is confirmed when we receive a 30% non-refundable deposit. The balance is due 30 days before the departure date. For trips booked within 30 days, full payment is required at the time of booking.

• More than 60 days before departure: full refund minus the 30% deposit.
• 30–60 days: 50% of total trip cost retained.
• Less than 30 days: 100% retained.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation.

If we cancel a trip (weather, safety, insufficient bookings) you receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another departure. We are not responsible for non-refundable flights or visa fees.

You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to participate. You must disclose relevant medical conditions at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse a booking on safety grounds.

We reserve the right to remove any traveller whose behaviour endangers the group, the guides, or the communities we visit. No refund is given in such cases.

We act in good faith and select partners with care. We are not liable for loss, damage, injury or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (force majeure, government action, weather, third-party failures).

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Samarkand.
